I'm looking for a list of any company that you work with in your small independent practice.
We thought would be helpful to share so only list folks you think would want others reaching out to them.
No need to spend much time- we can find the details.
Just would appreciate you shooting off quick list of any one you happen to know from the top of your head.

    graphic design companies,
    lab companies,
    medical supplies,
office supplies if smaller or mail order
    malpractice companies
    EMR
    phone system
    credit card service
    accounting firm
    law firm
    fax system

    who else...

    graphic design companies,
lab companies-LabCorps. Quest refused to link my EMR because I would order too few labs.
    medical supplies,
office supplies if smaller or mail order. Staples. If you have staples rewards you will receive coupons for free $10 off $10 several times yearly. I try to buy Lysol wipes, tp, pens, business cards with these for no oop. Buy copy paper when there is the rebate so it's nearly free. (Pay tax only) This comes up so often that I have a stock pile.
malpractice companies- MedMal Direct-They even have 1/4 time policies which is great for a startup with no patients.

    phone system-Nextiva
    credit card service
    accounting firm
    law firm
    fax system-Nextiva
    billing clearinghouse-Practice Ally- free

Does anyone use a mailbox provided by UPS or USPS, or even a fancier mail scanning (and user-controlled shredding) + forwarding, instead of sending mails to the office address?

I've heard from someone on this forum saying that a mailbox has a benefit that it stays the same even when you move office. And many insurance billing companies can't change your address quickly. Is it really the case?

I'm thinking if I lease my office for 5 years, I'm not sure about the benefit of having a separate mailbox. Perhaps there is, but am I missing something?

    Please advise.

Sorry for late response- supposedly this was true for Medicare back in the misty past,  but with PECOS, I don't think it still matters.
Re other insurances- get electronic deposit and it shouldn't matter unless you move far far away.
