Message: YES--To compare Payment Depot to the other CC companies,

it's $25-29/month + 1.15%(interchange rate) + $0.25/swipe and you need to buy the equipment, from $69-300. You can also buy used, where the $250 gizmo is $50-100.  Since they say they'll reprogram your already owned gizmo, you can also use used equipment bought elsewhere.

So for $4000, 200 x $20 would cost $121-125  and  for and $4000, 40 x $100   = $81-$84/ month
Plus ~$100 up front to start.

So this is just  a smidge more than Payline for $100 average tickets.
If you have larger average charges, Payment Depot  would be slightly less.
When you're talking $5-20 /month difference, the cost stops being significant, and it's much more important how easy they are to work with.

What experiences have others had with credit card processors?  How easy/hard to set up? How easy/hard to work with?

If you are going to take credit cards (which I'd recommend you do), either go for super easy to set up (paypal, square, etc), or cheap.

Cheapest I've found is payment depot:
